Learning activities and teaching methods |
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Demonstration, Laboratory, E-learning
|
Learning outcomes |
The aim of this subject is to give the students information about basic analytical methods - about principles and carrying out of the methods. Students will be familiarized with traditional analytical methods as well as with state of art methods of instrumental analysis. Practical lessons will be dedicated to calculation related to topics of presented lectures.
Students will gain information about basic analytical methods - about principles and carrying out of the methods. They will be familiarized traditional analytical methods as well as with state of art methods of instrumental analysis. |
Prerequisites |
Students have to pass the subjects Chemistry I and II.
VURH/CHE1 ----- or ----- VURH/CHE1K and SKS/CHE2 |
Assessment methods and criteria |
Combined exam, Development of laboratory protocols
Conditions for obtaining credit: 100% attendance of laboratory training and demonstration lessons, 80% attendance of other training lessons (calculations). Students have to submit correct protocols from all laboratory trainings in due time. Students have to pass 2 credit tests (calculations based; students have to obtain more than 50 % points in both tests). Conditions for oral examination: to be allowed to go to the oral examination, students have to get credit and pass a test (theory based; students have to obtain more than 50% points). |
