Course content
Safety regulations, rules and organization of practice. Measurement of the surface tension of liquids. Measurement of dynamic viscosity. Verification of the ideal gas equation of state. Measurement of the specific heat capacity of metals. Determination of the dependence of the refractive index on concentration and temperature. Determination of molar mass cryoscopically. Determination of partial molar volumes in a two-component system. Determination of the rate constant and activation energy of the reaction at different temperatures. Measurement of electromotive voltage of galvanic cells. Determination of solubility product and dissolution enthalpy. Determination of the dissociation constant of the acid-base indicator. Determination of adsorption isotherm parameters.

Learning outcomes
In this practice, students will learn the methodology of working in the laboratory in the area of measuring selected physico-chemical characteristics of substances and mixtures. Students will perform relevant experiments, develop and submit measurement protocols.
