Course content
Course contents: - Political philosophy, basic concepts, historical dimension - Political ideologies and their anthropological assumptions, the relationship of political philosophy and political ideologies - Key concepts of political philosophy and relationships between them (freedom of equality, justice, community) - Concepts of Freedom and Equality (Berlin, Bobbio, etc.) - Different Theories of Justice (Rawls, Nozick, Communitarism, etc.) - Concepts of the Commonwealth (liberalism, conservatism, socialism, communitarism) - Systematic approach to political ideologies (typology, classification, scales, dichotomies) - Liberalism and its forms (classical liberalism, social liberalism, neoliberalism, libertarianism) - Conservatism and its forms (traditional conservatism, "anthropological conservatism", New Right, neo-conservatism, paelokonzervatism) - Socialism and its forms (radical communism and its variations in the past and present, forms of social democracy, New Labor, Chinese socialism, Chavez socialism for the 21st century, etc.) - Radical political ideologies, their ideological profile, influence, inspiration of feminism, ecology, anarchism, extreme right-wing and left-wing scenes) In the seminar reading, presentation and reflection of key texts for political philosophy (Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau, Burke, Hegel, Bentham, Berlin, Rawls, Nozick, Marcuse, MacIntyre, Walzer, Taylor, etc.)

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the character, variations and reflections of the basic concepts of political philosophy (freedom, equality, justice, community) and their consequences for the diversity of political ideologies
Student understands the basic concepts of political philosophy (freedom, equality, justice, community) and understands their implications for the diversity of political ideologies, the ideological anatomy of individual ideologies and the debate between them
