Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to give its students an overview of Theology over the last two centuries and especially its ecumenical and historical dynamic dimensions. On completion of this course, students will be able to recognise and value the key persons and topics of modern theology. The course will also draw together any scattered knowledge of these issues which students may have gained during their previous studies.
Learning Outcome: Students will gain an overview of Theology as a whole, the key theologians, their fields of interest and the most frequently addressed questions.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

Assement Criteria: Read at least one book on the history of modern theology and two theological works (one writtten before and one after 1950). Demonstrate knowledge of the names of the main characters listed in the Anthology by K.-J. Kuschel. Present a talk on one theological work.
