Key learning outcomes The aim of the study program is primarily to respond to the requirements of increasing the qualification of workers in the field of social services, so the conception of the follow-up Master's program corresponds to the social needs. Another aim is to provide graduates of the Bachelor's study program with the possibility to study a Master's program by deepening the study of social work especially in subjects where social work is related to ethics and psychology. Both disciplines (ethics and psychology) are in their basic form of their relation to the issue of social work part of the compulsory study of the bachelor's program "Social and charitable work". The follow-up Master's program focuses on intensive study of these disciplines selected from a broad base provided by bachelor's study. The two-year follow-up Master's degree program Ethics in Social Work assumes a bachelor's degree in one of the fields of Social Care, Social Policy and Social Work or in related Bachelor's programs that meet the criteria of the Accreditation Commission for the Assessment of Social Work Studies. The aim of this program is to build on a comprehensive professional bachelor study of social work issues and to deepen the ability of graduates to work with an emphasis on the ethical aspects of helping professions and to provide students with the prerequisites for better work with people on an individual and organizational level. The program leads the student to independent thinking and orientation in situations where conflicts of value systems occur, as well as to better communication and work with people and within the organization.
