Course content
Development of legal regulation in the international, European community and Czech context; Overview of current legislation in the area of CITES regulation of international and intra-EU trade in specimens of endangered species of fauna and flora - and in areas related to the issues of protection and management of organisms of interest (fauna and flora). EU Member States' trade with third countries: Imports, exports and re-exports from the EU, personal or family specimens, born and bred in captivity or artificially propagated. Export of a specimen of a plant species on the basis of a phytosanitary certificate. Transit, intra-EU and domestic trade: Prohibition of commercial use of certain specimens, movement of live specimens, Compulsory registration, marking. Registration of traders, scientists and scientific institutions, breeding or growing establishments - Forms, applications and documents. CITES bodies, organization and competences of the state administration CEI control, customs supervision, veterinary controls at borders - Proof of legal origin - Sanctions, criminal offenses, seizure and detention, handling of seized specimens. - Suspension of imports of certain species into the EU. - Export of "non-sentient" individuals of specially protected species from the territory of the Czech Republic. Hunting regulation. Animal transport rules. Animal cruelty. Rules for conducting animal experiments. Hobby breeds. Veterinary and phytopathological control. Zoos.

Ability to orient legal regulations in the field of nature protection in a broader sense in the international, European community and Czech context. CITES, in particular in areas related to the protection and management of plants and animals of interest. The issue of trade of EU countries with third countries in the field of import, export and re-export from the EU. Knowledge of mandatory registration, marking of CITES specimens, as well as registration of traders, scientists and scientific institutions, breeding or growing facilities. CEI control, customs supervision, veterinary controls at borders. Sanctions, criminal offenses, seizure and detention, handling of seized CITES specimens. Export of "non - sentient" individuals of specially protected species from the territory of the Czech Republic, regulation of hunting, legal treatment of animal transport. Animal cruelty law, connection with animal experiments.
Prerequisites
At least 80% attendance. Active inclusion in discussions.

CITES bodies, organization and competences of state administration, CEI supervision, customs supervision, veterinary controls at borders. Proof of legal origin of specimens. Sanctions, criminal offenses, seizure and detention, handling of seized specimens. Export of "non - sentimental" individuals of specially protected species from the territory of the Czech Republic. Regulation of animal hunting, rules of animal transport. Animal cruelty law, connection with animal experiments. Hobbies, zoo.
