Parasites and parasitoses of horses. Parasites and parasitoses of poultry. Parasites and parasitoses of wild ungulates. Parasites and parasitoses of dogs and cats. Transmission of infection. Experimental infections. Diagnostic methods. Differential diagnosis.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to deepen the knowledge from the master´s degree of significant parasitic infections of livestock
Expert knowledge of the most common parasitic infections of farm animals and their impact on animal health, the quality of food and raw materials of animal origin and the impact on human health. Skills include biological sampling, detection and differential diagnosis of parasitic pathogens.

Oral examination
Compulsory consultations with the teacher, passing of an oral examination confirming the student's comprehensive orientation in the field.
