Key learning outcomes The educational goal of the field is to expand the knowledge of theoretical and biological basis, to acquire methods and procedures of animal health protection as a principle, to understand the causal relationships of morbidity and active health creation, including ecological and economic contexts.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples The profile of a graduate is determined by the objectives of the study and the chosen topic and subjects studied. In general, graduates are prepared for independent scientific, pedagogical or managerial work in the given field. Graduates find employment in scientific and teaching positions within various institutes of the CAS, universities, both in agriculture and in health care or veterinary medicine, and they are also very well employed in state administration and control organisations such as the State Veterinary Administration or the State Agricultural and Food Inspection Authority, as well as in private companies.
