Key learning outcomes
|
Preparing a graduate who will possess an adequate range of knowledge and skills in the Czech language and literature, with emphasis on the Czech language and the history of Czech literature. Most graduates will continue their study in the follow-up magister programme in Teaching the Czech language and literature at senior level of basic school.

Specific admission requirements
|
The applicants will be accepted either on the basis of their secondary school performance or a combination of secondary school performance and an interview.
|

|
The applicant shall submit documents proving the previously completed study certified by the relevant institution (of secondary or higher education).

Bc. Graduates are qualified to work as assistants to basic school teachers specializing in the Czech language and literature; or as specialists at various leisure-time centres for children and youth. Moreover, they can join other specialists in the social network, in the Civil Service and work in all institutions requiring a Bc. degree in humanities.
