Key learning outcomes The aim of the field of Fishery is to provide the graduates with basic professional knowledge in the filed of fish farming, fisheries of open waters, water management and legislation, which enables them to be employed in lower management units, meaning small working groups in fishery, water management, and public and state administration.. The graduates should be also prepared to work in private sector of small range, and for specialist work in environmental protection institutions or laboratories focused predominantly on water quality evaluation.
Specific admission requirements The applicants will be accepted according to the rank based on the secondary school performance and information specified in the application
Specific provisions for recognition of prior learning Applicants must declare A-level certificate obtained at a secondary school of the Czech Republic. The others must meet criteria given by special legislation for studying of non-Czech citizens at universities in CZE (nostrification).
Qualification requirements and regulations For admission no special qualification criteria are to be met. The advantage is knowledge of biology, chemistry and English at the level of secondary education or orientation in ichthyology, fisheries and/or water management.
