Key learning outcomes
|
Graduates are able to use their knowledge in preparation and work in developing and research projects in the field of fishery and fish farming, they are oriented to wider connections and consequences in aquaculture and fisheries. Other spheres of their activity will be institutions of state administration, business, agricultural schools and research.

Specific provisions for recognition of prior learning
|
Applicants must declare A-level certificate obtained at a secondary school of the Czech Republic. The others must meet criteria given by special legislation for studying of non-Czech citizens at universities in CZE (nostrification).

Qualification requirements and regulations
|
For admission no special qualification criteria are to be met. The advantage is knowledge of biology, chemistry and English at the level of secondary education or orientation in ichthyology, fisheries and/or water management.

|
Graduates will obtain professional base of knowledge in the filed of fish culture, fisheries of open waters, water management and legislation which enables them to lead small working units in above mentioned field, in public service, to work in private sector of small range, at environmental institutions or laboratories focused on water quality evaluation.
