Key learning outcomes The Civil emergency preparation is a discipline including the sum of civil management planning and control processes and bonds prepared by administrative offices, self-government bodies and designed institutions for solution of extraordinary incidents and crisis situations. It includes a set of actions and activities to determine the needs and variants of solution of crisis situations while respecting the given political, legal and economic conditions and making efficient use of the available resources the state is able to provide for internal and external safety.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples The compulsory and compulsorily optional subjects are completed by optional subjects, so that the student, if interested, can acquire also grasp of the issues of the other module than the one the student has selected for study. By acquiring the corresponding theoretical and practical knowledge, habits and experience, the graduate will acquire the knowledge and competence needed to perform the following activities: - perform basic functions related to participation in elaboration of crisis management concept and solution of extraordinary incidents and to implementation of such concepts and execution of the related control activities of readiness of the facilities of state and private sector to solve crisis situations; - participate, as expert worker, in decision making in individual components of the Integrated rescue system; - in case of meeting other conditions, be admitted to a corresponding expert position as member of the Czech Army, the Czech Police or the Czech Fire Brigade.
