Key learning outcomes
|
The aim of the professionally oriented Bachelor's degree programme in Tourism is to prepare flexible and well methodically equipped, economically, commercially and marketing oriented managers in the corporate perceived tourism system. The sub-objectives of the education are focused according to the different segments of the study and include in particular: - To prepare professionally proficient professionals for lower and middle management level in tourism organisations or organisations directly linked to tourism. - To secure employment in national and international tourism-related companies thanks to a high-quality professionally oriented education. - To prepare erudite entrepreneurs with the ability to analyse business opportunities in tourism. - To be oriented in the tourism sector. - Understand the issues of tourism marketing and management. - To acquire theoretical knowledge and skills in economic sciences with a primary focus on business, marketing and management in tourism. - To enable students to profile their knowledge in their areas of professional interest through compulsory electives. - To provide graduates with all the necessary skills, knowledge and competences required for employment in various areas of tourism or management and marketing. - To gain practical skills and experience through compulsory work experience. - To prepare students for further education for related fields of study in the follow-up Master's programmes.
