| Key learning outcomes | In the bachelor's degree program in biophysics, students gain a basic overview of classical physics (mechanics, molecular physics, electricity and magnetism, optics) and theoretical physics (theoretical mechanics, quantum theory, statistical physics). This overview is, of course, supplemented by practical courses and courses in mathematical analysis and linear algebra. In addition to this foundation in physics, the program also covers chemistry and biology (general and physical chemistry, biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology) and the corresponding laboratory methods in chemistry and biology. This broad knowledge base acquired during the bachelor's program enables graduates to apply their knowledge in a wide range of fields. |
