Key learning outcomes The aim of the study is 1. to deepen students' knowledge in the field of molecular and cell biology and genetics and 2. to prepare students for independent professional/scientific activities in the laboratory. Therefore, students will take lectures and practical courses necessary for employment not only in modern biological research, whether basic or applied, but also in practice in forensic and clinical laboratories and biotechnology companies. The aim is to train independent graduates who are familiar with the most modern approaches in molecular biology and genetics and are able to process and present the results of scientific work, even in English. The study also results in an experimentally oriented thesis, which should have the ambition to become the basis for a scientific publication.
