| Key learning outcomes | The mission of the three-year bachelor's degree program in Physical Education and Sport is to prepare qualified, university-educated professionals for the sports education of talented individuals of all age categories in selected sports disciplines, as well as for the sports education of the general population in their leisure physical activities. The study program is also the first level of a single-subject study focused on physical education and sport. The content foundation of the compulsory subjects consists of basic thematic areas from theory, practice, and didactics of physical and sports activities, pedagogy and psychology of physical education and sport, biomedicine, biomechanics, sports management, leisure activities, health, lifestyle, human nutrition, regeneration in sport, health physical education, and applied physical activities. These basic thematic areas are designed comprehensively to create a solid foundation for the development of competencies needed for the profession of a coach. In the field of practical professional focus, the study program is oriented towards the public sector, specifically in the area of human development. Students will verify and develop the knowledge and skills they acquire through internships in educational institutions, sports clubs, physical education units, and other facilities. In order to ensure the professional quality of the professionally oriented study program Physical Education and Sport, cooperation with experts from physical education and sports practice is implemented. | ||||
