Course content
1-7 Testing, assessment, error correction. 8 Factors that promote or hinder learning 9 Choosing and evaluating teaching materials. 10-11 Teaching heterogeneous groups. Teaching children with specific needs. 12-14 Lesson planning, classroom management, interaction in ELT classroom.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Individual preparation for exam
Learning outcomes
Testing and assessment. Error correction. Choosing and evaluating teaching materials. Teaching heterogeneous groups. Teaching children with specific needs. Factors that influence learning.Classroom interaction. Lesson planning. Classroom management.
Knowledge and application of appropriate methods of testing and assessment, ability to evaluate and choose teaching materials, plan lessons for heterogeneous classes including learners with specific needs.
Prerequisites
Knowledge and skills from OD1 and 2, pedagogy, psychology of learning, general methodology, good language proficiency.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination, Student portfolio analysis

All examinations and consultations are held in English. Active participation Seminar paper aimed at testing reading or listening (included in the final portfolio) Preparation of material concerning the content of the subject to be included in the final portfolio.
