Learning outcomes
|
The course is focused on amplifying of knowledge about natural compounds in relation with specialization, according to the aim and methodology of dissertation and trainer request. The course deals with the basic groups of natural compounds according to their structure and chemical properties and their biological impact. The function of natural compounds in foodstuffs, raw material and feed is also discussed. The methods of both qualitative and quantitative analysis of natural compounds are introduced.
The students can use the acquired knowledge about important groups of natural substances and their properties in other related subjects of their field and in the practical part of their work.
