Intercultural communication represents an important and globally recognised aspect of higher education. This course aims innovatively to transmit current scientific knowledge and skills related to intercultural communication relevant to helping professionals in today's globalised world. Students will learn about the basics of intercultural communication from the social-scientific perspective. They will learn about social work areas requiring specific communication skills. They will learn to theoretically and practically apply the concepts constitutive for successful intercultural communication in the ideal-typical situation they shall encounter in their later working environment.
