Course content
Weeds and pests of major field crops. Methods of weed control, mechanical, chemical and biological control. Animal pests of field crops at the level of micro to gigafauna and the possibilities of their regulation. Pathogenic microorganisms, viral and fungal diseases of main field crops and methods of their regulation. Biological and integrated protection of major field crops against weeds and pests at various stages of development and at appropriate stages in the development of their populations.

Learning outcomes
Subject of the final state examination. Mastering and studying the scientific and professional issues of the subject obtained in the form of lectures, exercises and self-study of selected chapters from teaching texts and professional literature. Improving the ability to analyze and synthesize professional knowledge and their interpretation. Acquisition and deepening of knowledge and materials for practical professional activity, or subsequent study.
Theoretical knowledge of professional subjects, the ability to work with professional literature, the ability to formulate conclusions from the studied issues.
