Course content
1. Distribution of tractors 2. Design of tractors 3. Engines design 4. Internal combustion engines 5. Working cycle of internal combustion engines 6. Combustion engine accessories 7. Fuels, fuel system 8. Tractor gearboxes 9. Tractor running gear 10. Tractor accessories, electronics 11. Traction characteristics 12. Movement of vehicles in the field 13. Agricultural trucks 14. Handling and special vehicles

Learning outcomes
The course serves to acquire the theoretical basis necessary for practical exercises. The content of the text fits into a set of scripts and textbooks in the field of motor road vehicles. It is intended to introduce students to this field and to give them an overview of technical terminology.
The student is able to apply the knowledge, received during the study, specified in the part: Content of the syllabus.

Conditional Completion of subject KZT/ZT

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Test, Seminar work

Requirements to get the credits: 1. Participation - max. 2 unauthorised absences 2. Seminar paper 3. Average grade from tests: 3 and better 4. When one condition is not met, another seminar paper on a given topic must be worked out 5. When the absence is higher than 50% the credits will not be given Exam - written test with 10 questions from which 2 are counting exercises, oral exam based on the result of the written part.
