| Key learning outcomes | The Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering - Primary Production provides the student with an extension and deepening of education in the field of classical agriculture including both main agricultural activities - growing field crops and farm animal husbandry. The specialization in primary production focuses on agricultural operations - thus, mechanization of crop and animal production is an essential part of it, as well as other specialized courses helping the graduate to acquire detailed technical knowledge. In the course of study, the student also acquires the basic management skills needed to run an agricultural enterprise or part of it. The diploma thesis topics are mainly focused on solving problems in the field of plant growing, animal husbandry or mechanization of agricultural production. | ||||

| Occupational profiles of graduates with examples | A graduate of the Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering is a specialist who can be applied especially in the operation of agricultural primary production. The graduate is able to analyze, evaluate and optimize the plant cultivation and farm animal husbandry technology of the farm in accordance with good agricultural practice, economic efficiency, quality of the obtained production and environmental protection requirements. The graduate should be prepared to manage technologically and organisationally an agricultural farm/corporation or part of it. In addition to agricultural operations, the graduate is also employable in professions related to agricultural production (agricultural services, agricultural commodity trading, professional clerk in state and public administration, etc.). | ||||
