Výstupy z učení
Principles of fluorescence spectroscopy and microscopy and their applications in biology and medicine Principy fluorescenční spektroskopie a mikroskopie a jejich aplikace v biologii a medicíně.
The course introduces the students to the timely applications of the fluorescence spectroscopy and microscopy in biosciences. The students will be able to design and suggest appropriate fluorescence experiments for the specific biological problem.
Předpoklady
The students are to know basics of the optical spectroscopy and microscopy. Moreover, the overview of the structure of biomolecules (DNA, proteins, lipids) and biomolecular self-assemblies (biomembranes, protein associates) is beneficial.

Hodnoticí metody a kritéria
Ústní zkouška
The exam is oral. Randomly chosen 2 topics out of 12 is discussed and the understanding of the student to the particular fluorescence approach determines the evaluation.
