| Content of lectures: Physical states of matter (ideal and real gases - equation of states , virial the theorem of corresponding states , liquids - evaporation , saturated vapor pressure , solids - crystal lattice, isomorphism and polymorphism , X-ray)  Zero and the first law of thermodynamics (work , heat , state and stateless quantities, reversible and irreversible changes , enthalpy , heat capacity , heat of reaction,the reaction heat of formation , thermochemical equations , Hess law , Kirchhoff law , the maximum combustion temperature)  Second and third law of thermodynamics ( isothermal and adiabatic process , Carnot cycle , entropy in the classical concept of entropy irreversible processes , Helmoholz and Gibbs function for reversible and irreversible changes , Maxwell relations , expansion of gas in a vacuum)  Statistical Thermodynamics (the difference between the statistical and classical thermodynamics , statistical thermodynamics postulates , microcanonical a canonical ensemble ,  partition function , partition function of an ideal gas )  Phase equilibria ( molar quantities, chemical potential , chemical equilibrium in a one- phase system , fugacity, fugacity coefficient , two-phase equilibrium , Clausius - Clapeyron equation , phase diagram , partial molar quantities , Gibbs - Duhem equation , determining the partial molar quantities , chemical potential components during phase equilibrium,  Gibbs phase rule , the ideal solution , the activity component in the solution , activity coefficient , Raoult law , distillation , theoretical plates of the column , gas solubility , colligative properties of solutions , cryoscopy , ebulioscopy , osmotic pressure , mixing solutions of ideal and real solutions , reference conditions , equilibrium gas - liquid at low pressures , equilibrium liquid - liquid extraction solvent Nernst law)  Chemical equilibrium ( chemical equilibrium condition , reaction isotherm for unbalanced system , reactions in the gas and liquid phase , reactions in electrolyte solutions )  Content of practicals: in accordance with the lectures. |
