? Spermatogenesis and oogenesis, meiosis and mitosis, induction of maturity, ovulation and spermiation. ? Controlled spermiation and ovulation including endocrine regulation with environmental influences. 1 Sexuality of fish, sex ration, changes of sex in breeding conditions and hybridization. 2 Reproduction of fish in breeding practice, effects of rearing environment, inbreeding depression, hormones, pheromones and reproductive behaviour of fish. 3 Methods of controlled reproduction of freshwater fish with exogenous hormone treatment and handling environment. 4 Gametes of fish, their physiology and preservation of gametes short and long term including the freezing of embryos and stem cells. 5 Activation, fertilization of gametes and incubation of eggs. 6 Genomic manipulation ? principles of uniparental inheritance and cloning of parental genomes and polyploidy and level manipulation of gametes during insemination, activation, impregnation.

Výstupy z učení

The objective of the subject is to acquaint students with reproductive biology of some teleostean and chondrostean fresh water fish with emphasis on the physiology of reproduction, endocrinology, sexuality, gametogenesis, genome manipulations and reproduction of fish in breeding practice.
Students will be able to manage practical reproduction of fish at hatcheries of fishing companies.
