Ecological products and ecological labels - green management 9. Footprint and environment management indicators; 10. Environmental management systems (EMS) methodology. Environmental management on different branches - institutional level, agriculture, industry; Conflicts in environmental management 11. Valuing nature and landscape 12. Practical case studies from the EU. 13. Practical case studies from the Czech Republic.

Výstupy z učení
|
The aim of course is to teach students how to handle with environmental aspects of economic decisions. This is based on theoretical knowledge, case studies, practical examples and their analysis. The objective of this course is to prepare students for understanding of environmental impact of economic decisions on regional level or within industry. In other words to educate special managers who are able to take into account the broader than socio economic conditions of their work. The main purpose of this course is to help students understand the importance of environmental thinking and acting both in regional or business management. Using case studies and concepts from different projects the students will be acquainted with different approaches in different member states.
Students understand the basic principles of environmental economics, they are able to compare various financial products, construct amortization tables, and calculate life insurance premiums.

Písemná zkouška, Seminární práce
Credit Requirements: Elaboration of two case studies covering the main themes of lectures. Credits will be awarded not earlier than 14 days before the end of the semester in accordance with the measure of Dean No. 124/2017 Article 15. Examination Requirements: Written test The examinations will be written 3 weeks before the beginning of the examination period in accordance with the measure of Dean No. 124/2017 Article 15.
