Obsah předmětu
Topics of lectures: 1. The concept of work-related stress (development, terminology, approaches, models and their applications, psychosocial risks). 2. The concept of stress management (development, terminology, approaches, models, meaning). 3. Identification of sources of occupational stress (most significant stressors in companies, potential threats, prevention, elimination). 4. Stress management associated with the digitalization of the workplace, technostress (remote working, hybrid working, platforms, automation, AI management). 5. Work stress and its impact on employees in the corporate environment (health, satisfaction and performance). 6. Work stress and its impact on the enterprise (economic and social impact, costing). 7. Stress management strategies I. (tools and techniques, interventions at individual level - ILI type). 8. Stress management strategy II. (tools and techniques, interventions at the organizational level - OLI type, IGLOO model). 9. New trends in stress management (digital and technological innovations, innovative therapeutic approaches). 10. Legislative framework and global perspectives on stress management (legislation, international comparison). 11. Stress management in the context of an ageing workforce (strategies, challenges, adaptive approaches). 12. Lecture by a practitioner. 13. Application of stress management in the corporate environment (case studies, examples of good practice). Exercise: The exercises are designed to be closely related to the topics and content of the lectures. In the exercises, students will work case studies, which will give them practical experience in applying theory to real situations. Emphasis will be placed on developing students' teamwork, presentation and communication skills, which will be further enhanced by the presentation of seminar papers and discussions in the exercises.

The aim of the course is to provide a comprehensive view of stress management in the corporate environment and to offer practical tools and strategies for effective stress management in modern workplaces. The course prepares students to meet the current and future challenges of stress management in the workplace.
Students understand the basic framework and principles of stress management and are able to apply them in business practice and have an overview of current issues.

Ústní zkouška, Test

Credit requirements: Active participation, preparation of seminar work and assignments according to the teacher's instructions. Exam requirements: Written examination, possibility of oral examination in case of fulfilling the conditions of the test (success rate of at least 75%).
