Developmental and comparative biochemistry addresses biochemical and molecular/cellular biological aspects of evolutionary history and ontogeny of living organisms. The use of model organisms {Escheria coli; parasitic unicellular eukaryots; parasitic metazoans (worms), caenorhabditis (free living worm); drosophila fly; autotrophic organisms/microorganisms, vertebrates/mammalians} and selected unique traits of structural and functional features of individual molecules or their pathways is a practical approach that makes such voluminous subject feasible and accessible. Following themes will be addressed: ? Chemical basics of molecular evolution and ontogeny of living organism ? Nucleic Acids and nuclear proteins ? Structural variety and metaabolism of proteins ? Plasma proteins, youlm proteins, and metaal-binding proteins ? Immunoproteins ? Repiratory pigments ? Peptide hormons ? Toxi proteins and peptides ? Muscle proteins and cytoskeleton ?
