Principles of social work with groups. Roles in the group. 5. Social work with a group as one of the methods of social work. Support, educational, working, recreational, therapeutic groups. 6. The social worker and the role of the group worker. Group dynamics. Different approaches in group social work. 7. Self-help and support groups. 8. Group social work - special techniques and methods with groups of children. 9. Group social work - special techniques and methods with a group of adults. 10. Group social work - special techniques and methods with a group of seniors 65+ 11. The importance of creativity, creative activity for group and therapeutic work. 12. Methods and techniques - relaxation, imagination, art aktivity, music aktivity a expressive therapy. 13. Excursion in social facilities Nr. 1. 14. Excursion in social facilitities Nr. 2

Monologická (výklad, přednáška, instruktáž), Dialogická (diskuze, rozhovor, brainstorming), Práce s textem (učebnicí, knihou), Písemná práce (např. u souborných zkoušek, klauzur), Grafické a výtvarné činnosti, Aktivizující (simulace, hry, dramatizace), Individuální příprava ke zkoušce

The origins and development of group social work. History of group social work. Goals and norms of the group. The importance of the group for the individual. Principles of social work with groups. Roles in the group.
The student knows the goals, strategies, methods and principles of community social work and group social work. The student knows the specific examples of community social work and group social work in Czech Republic and abroad. Students can apply selected specific methods and approaches for different target groups to practice. The student knows the current issues of community social work and group social work in Czech Republic and abroad.

|
There are no specific requirements for this course. It is necessary to study recommended literature and discuss selected topics during lectures and seminars.

Hodnoticí metody a kritéria
|
Ústní zkouška, Písemná zkouška, Analýza výkonů studenta, Test, Seminární práce
The course is completed credit and oral exam. Terms of credit: 1. active participation in lectures and work in student´s group work; 2. processing and presentation of a seminar paper on the assigned topic. 3. participation in the excursion . After getting the credit students may complete oral exam. Oral exam: Students proceed to the oral exam after successfully obtaining credit by the deadline listed in the system STAG.
