Key learning outcomes The aims of the study program Protection of Waters can be summarized in the following points: 1) To obtain a versatile and high-quality graduate, able to work in his or her related fields at offices, control bodies and in companies at the level of middle management and control in the Czech Republic and within the EU. 2) To train experts who will guarantee the fulfillment, observance and improvement of legislative and administrative processes related to water and environmental protection, aware of the need for their sustainable use by human society so as to minimize the impact of anthropogenic activity on man and the surrounding nature, in the light of current global changes.
Specific admission requirements The applicants will be accepted on the basis of their secondary school performance
Specific provisions for recognition of prior learning Citizens of the CZ must provide proof of completed secondary education. Other applicants must comply with the conditions laid down by special legislation for the study of foreign nationals at higher education institutions.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples The profile of graduates will be usable in state administration at the level of municipal, regional and ministerial authorities in the field of water protection, environment and water management, water authorities, river basin companies, laboratories for water quality analysis, hygienic and hydrological stations, water management positions in companies taking and using water resources, in nature protection agencies, national parks, or at wastewater treatment plants, water treatment plants, etc.
