Key learning outcomes | The bachelor's study field prepares graduates as professionals and entrepreneurs for production and economic management of companies with a focus on operations, services and trade with specializations in agricultural business, processing of food raw materials and non-agricultural production processes. Graduates will also be employed in consulting services and in the commercial field. They will be able to implement measures to protect and use the agricultural landscape. In addition, they can work in government institutions, insurance, the commercial sphere, agricultural education and research as technical workers. The study plan is designed to suit students who expect to start a job after completing a bachelor's degree, as well as students who will continue in a follow-up master's degree in fields accredited by the faculty. | ||||

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples | The study program Agribusiness is part of a mosaic of specialized agricultural bachelor's study fields of the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of South Bohemia, where this study field offers an offer of agricultural studies focused on agricultural business in the vertical of primary production and technology, processing and sale of agricultural commodities. The study lasts three years and is designed so that the necessary theoretical foundations of agricultural and economic sciences are followed in the following semesters by subjects focused on primary agricultural production, food processing, management and trade. The bachelor's study field of Agribusiness meets the current situation and practical requirements, so that graduates are able to manage not only technological processes of production, but to acquire competencies in economic process management, family farms or companies in teams of collaborators and skills related to general development which they farm.
