Key learning outcomes
The Master's degree branch Multifunctional Agriculture is based on a broader concept of agriculture, where agricultural companies combine agricultural primary production, environmental protection and other activities, such as processing products on the farm and selling them, agrotourism or some aspects of social farming. The study branch is primarily aimed at foreign students and is taught in English. With regard to the two basic areas of countries from which students will establish themselves, it has a broader focus. At the first in case of full study is designed to provide students with sufficient information for agricultural production and management of the agricultural landscape. Emphasis is also placed on competences the work with literature and the ability to solve specific problems. For the second, the Multifunctional Agriculture will provide students of the ERASMUS+ exchange programme with a thematically comprehensive semester of education. Students can choose one or more semesters, depending on the orientation of study at the home university.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples
Graduates will be prepared for the labor market, for whom it is a matter of course to work in an international team. They will gain knowledge from the field of agricultural production in their professional profile, but they will also look for management alternatives that will withstand a competitive environment (for example, agrotourism, farm processing and food marketing or social agriculture). In their portfolio they will also have applied knowledge about the specific management of the agricultural landscape harmonizing the production and environmental function of the landscape and applying new knowledge of biological and ecological sciences in agricultural practice. The study plan is designed to suit both students who expect to start their career after graduation and students considering studying in doctoral study programmes.
