Key learning outcomes
|
The field of study has a multidisciplinary character. It focuses on solving the problems of the rural landscape in the field of environmental and agricultural production and in relation to the social aspects of sustainability. Education in the field of Agroecology purposefully applies the theoretical knowledge of several scientific disciplines to common agricultural practice with an emphasis on non-productive aspects within the landscape and its ecosystem services.

Graduates of the doctoral study program Agroecology can use in their future professional application an interdisciplinary combination of knowledge of agricultural and environmental issues for sustainable landscape development, as well as socio-economic knowledge for rural development. The professional focus enables the solution of the issues of agriculture and environmental protection and especially their penetration, both at the level of the agricultural enterprise and outside it, at the level of the micro-region or region.
