Key learning outcomes
|
Graduates are advanced users of the English language in a multicultural society, capable of fluent and effective oral and written communication with both native and non-native speakers. They can correctly interpret complex oral and written texts and produce natural and stylistically appropriate language themselves. Graduates are informed users of the language, whose practical language skills are based on a broad foundation of theoretical subjects, primarily in linguistics and literature. A good knowledge of the history, culture, and realities of English-speaking countries enables them to navigate English-language environments without difficulty. By mastering the principles of modern didactics and applying them practically in teaching, they can effectively convey their skills and knowledge to students, taking into account the students age-related characteristics and language proficiency levels. They are capable of responding promptly to developments in the field, both linguistically and methodologically, and can independently solve problems they have encountered so far.
