Course objectives:
|
Základní přednáška pro studenty všech specializací. Cílem je uvést do specifické problematiky mikrobiologie a virologie a poskytnout studentům základní znalosti oboru. Stručně seznámit s historií mikrobiologie, bakteriální taxonomií, prokaryotní buňkou, růstem a fyziologií bakteriálních kultur, různorodostí a složitostí bakteriálního metabolismu, ekologií a technologickým využíváním mikroorganismů. Přednáška obsahuje i základy virologie a dosud známé poznatky o prionech.
