Content
|
Content of lectures: Course is a follow-up to the basic course of immunology. 1. Fundamentals of immunology. 2. Immunopathology. 3. Inherited and acquired immunodeficiency. 4. Anti-infectious immunity. 5. Autoimmune disorders. 6. Immunology in rheumatology. 7. Organ affection. 8. Endocrinology and immunology. 9. Hypersensitivity, allergy. 10. Transplantation immunology, HLA-related disorders. 11. Diagnostic immunology. 12. Immunological therapy and prevention. Content of practices: Practicals realise as short-time stays in the Department of Clinical Immunology, Regional Hospital in České Budějovice. They comprise basic methods of clinical immunology depending on the routine operation of the Department.

Competences acquired |
Students understand the principles of defense against infections, the principles of immune - dependent pathogenesis, the principles of interventions into imunne system and the principles of methods, which are used in immunological labs. Students are able to aplicate these principles in laboratory investigations of immune - dependent diseases. |
