Key learning outcomes | The aim of the study Biology and Protection of Hobby Organisms is an academic interdisciplinary connection between the biological field, related practical (biomonitoring, animal and plant biotechnology, toxicology, useful and ornamental plants, animal nutrition) and the legislative sphere. The aim of education is to acquire competencies in the following areas: a) private breeding-breeding sphere - animal husbandry, plant cultivation, including all accompanying professional procedures, b) professional and managerial work in zoological and botanical gardens, c) business sphere, work in companies dealing with trade in plants and animals, d) specialized expert services in state institutions (Czech Environmental Inspectorate, environmental reports of regional authorities and municipalities, Ministry of the Environment, Ministry of Agriculture, police departments monitoring illegal trade in organisms, customs administration, etc.), e) work in the media sphere. The basis of the profile of the graduate of the follow-up master's study is the area of Landscaping - graduates will get deeper acquainted and acquire knowledge and skills related to landscaping design so that they are able to independently perform design activities within landscaping, including spatial and functional optimization, eco-optimization, traceability and spatial planning documentation of towns and municipalities. It also includes environmental impact assessment, solving the problem of common facilities, etc. The aim of education is to acquire additional competencies in the following areas: Here the student can choose the depth of their study according to selected subjects a) Real estate valuation - students will deepen their knowledge in the field real estate valuation and extend them to the basics of environmental economics and economics. They will get acquainted with the valuation of engineering and design activities, valuation, the activities of forensic experts and appraisers, property management. At the same time, they will be introduced to the issue of rural architecture. They will gain an overview of the economics of cities and municipalities and public investment. b) Planning and protection of agricultural landscape - students will deepen their knowledge and skills in the field of landscape creation and protection, they will get acquainted with the issue of landscape revitalization and environmental impact assessment - EIA. Last but not least, they will get acquainted with the subsidy policy in agriculture, which is the main motivating factor for the access of users (farmers) to land, water and landscape. c) Water regime of the landscape - includes knowledge of the cycle of substances in the landscape (river basin) and runoff conditions, including the transformation of flood waves and the design of flood control measures. It deals with the principles of modifications of streams and reservoirs, protection and management of water resources, including management in important areas of water accumulation and protection zones of water resources. Part of the land readjustment is also a proposal of soil protection measures, so students will be acquainted with the issues of hydrological surveys and water protection. | ||||
