Key learning outcomes The aim of the study is to prepare professionals capable of multidisciplinary approach to solving problems of contemporary landscape as related to sustainable landscape management and agricultural production. Emphasis is placed not only on the acquisition of specific professional knowledge and methodological skills, but especially on the development of critical thinking and the ability to independently analyse complex technical information, to carry out research in the laboratory and in the field and to adequately interpret and publish the results obtained. Students are guided so that after successful completion of the study they have the competence to implement scientific research and project activities in terms of process, professional and financial. An important goal of the study programme is also the development of students' ability to creatively apply research results in practice. Students are encouraged to combine knowledge of ecosystem structures, processes and functions with knowledge and practical experience.

Qualification requirements and regulations Graduate of a master's program in agriculture, natural or technical fields, good knowledge of English, ability to formulate research questions, ability to work independently (very good level of Diploma Thesis) and relevant topic of disertation.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples Applicability The graduate can find employment in research and academia and in practice focused on agroecology and applied ecology. After gaining the necessary practical experience, he/she is qualified to take up managerial and leadership positions in these areas. With regard to the topic of his/her dissertation, the graduate will be able to apply for example: in academia and other institutions involved in science, research, development and innovation; performing professional functions in public administration bodies in the field of environmental protection, nature conservation and landscape protection; in the process of biological evaluation, in the field of agricultural primary production, in particular in organic farming; in the field of agricultural and environmental consultancy and other specialised services; in control and inspection institutions; in professional and interest organisations with activities in the field of nature and landscape conservation and agr
