Key learning outcomes The fild of study Special Zootechnics builds on the knowledge of graduates of the follow-up master's study program "Zootechnics". The aim of the study is not only a deepening of theoretical knowledge in the field of zootechnics, but also practical links from the point of view of production, organization and sustainability of animal husbandry, as well as from the point of view of further development of scientific knowledge and itsr practical use. An important goal is to teach students critical thinking and independent scientific work. Students gain more detailed knowledge, especially in the technological field of individual farm animal breedings. They are prepared for a versatile application in the professional and management sphere of both agricultural primary production and in advisory services in the field of breeding, reproduction and nutrition of livestock. They acquire methodological training for scientific research activities in research institutes and for activities at secondary agricultural vocational schools as well as for further professional growth in the scientific and pedagogical field at universities.

Qualification requirements and regulations Graduating of magister study program in the field of agriculture, animal breeding, biology, veterinary medicine. An adequate level of knowledge is important from professional subjects and english language.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples The graduate should be an expert with a broad perspective and ability to solve complex scientific and research technical tasks in the field of agricultural production and related fields.
