Key learning outcomes After training, the graduates from the study programme are also able to perform works in specialized clinical laboratories. In addition to special disciplines, the students learn to communicate with subjects ordering laboratory examinations at the level of the basic biomedical terminology. The students are familiarized with the organization, management and ethics of the work in laboratories and with the system of the internal and external laboratory quality control. The graduates can find positions in all the types of medical laboratories, organization manufacturing diagnostic laboratory products and in research and other laboratories.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples . The graduate from the discipline of Health care laboratory technician is qualified, after initial training, also for work in specialized clinical laboratories. Additionally to specially professionally focused subjects, the students also learn to communicate with parties ordering laboratory examinations at the level of basic biomedical terminology. The students are familiarized with the organization, management, ethics of laboratory work and the system of internal and external laboratory quality control. The graduates will find employment in all types of health care laboratories, organizations producing diagnostic laboratory agents, in research and other laboratories.
