| Key learning outcomes | The aim of the follow-up master's program in German Language and Literature is to provide graduates with comprehensive knowledge in the field of German philology. The program curriculum is offered in three versions: A, A1 (maior) and A2 (minor). All three versions include the traditional components of philological studies - linguistics (contrastive linguistics, advanced syntax, development and history of the German language, textual and discursive linguistics), literary studies (history of German-language literature) and language (practical language skills). The A version study plan contains a higher proportion of compulsory elective subjects and subjects focused on translation practice, especially of technical texts. Study plan version A1 covers all key philological disciplines, while study plan A2 is a reduced version of plan A1. The program concludes with a state final exam in German linguistics and German literature and a practical language exam. | ||||
