Key learning outcomes | The branch of study Agricultural Biotechnology - Plant is focused on applied issues of genetics, microbiology and molecular biology and their use in plant biotechnology, food and pharmacy. The study is focused on the theoretical area of genetics, molecular biology, microbiology, physiology and biochemistry, as well as on the basics of plant production. The study specialization Plant Biotechnology in the form of optional subjects enables a deeper orientation on specific issues of genetics, molecular biology and biotechnology of plants and plant cells, cultures of plant explants in vitro. Great attention is paid to mastering of laboratory methods and procedures and to manage modern laboratory equipment. Thanks to the combination of theoretical knowledge and practical laboratory skills, graduates find employment in specialized microbiological, food, diagnostic and clinical laboratories, state administration laboratories or can continue in their studies. | ||||
