Key learning outcomes | Bachelor's degree programme the Spanish language and literature is designed to convey the basic knowledge of general linguistics, systematic knowledge of synchronic linguistics of the Spanish language (phonetics and phonology, morphosyntax, lexiology), basic knowledge of literary theory and history of Spanish and Hispano-American literature. In the Spanish language, the study provides the acquisition of linguistic competences at the level of C1 (or B2 in the minor variant) according to the common European framework of reference for languages. The obligatory component also includes familiarity with the relevant cultural realia. In Variants A and A1 (maior) of the study plan, students also receive basic knowledge of Latin, Roman, corpus and computatonal linguistics and insight into the broader historical context of the Spanish language and literature (history of Roman countries, an overview of the development of Roman literatures). In the variant A of the study plan, students also receive competence in the field of vocational language (administrative-legal and commercial Spanish) and the foundations of another Roman language of their choice (Italian, French, Portuguese). Under compulsory optional courses, the obtained philological basis can be extended by further specific knowledge and competences e.g. from the field of world literature, translatology, language culture or media studies or to complement e.g. the foundations of Czech, European or commercial law. | ||||
