Key learning outcomes The three-year bachelor field "Agriculture" in the specialization "Phytosanitary" is a classic agricultural study that provides the student with a comprehensive education and practical knowledge concerning agricultural production in the field of agricultural crops and livestock farming and extended knowledge focusing on the protection of agricultural crops from adverse factors. Specialized subjects follow the theoretical foundations of natural and agricultural sciences in the course of studying compulsory, compulsory elective and optional subjects. The concept of the field of study is based primarily on the requirements of agricultural practice. Graduates of this specialisation apply in particular as specialised agronomists, farm workers and consultancy firms, or as civil servants with a focus on plant health care.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples The field "Agriculture" graduate will be equipped with basic expertise from agricultural disciplines. The curriculum of the field and the specialisation chosen is designed to allow graduates to take up employment after completing their bachelor's degree, as well as to pursue their subsequent master's degree courses. The graduate shall have the knowledge to hold the profession of self-employed farmer and agronomist on the holding, agricultural services worker or consultancy organisation. Graduates also find employment in administrative positions of agricultural focus, but also in various positions of government focusing on agricultural and plant protection issues.
