Key learning outcomes
|
The aim of the PhD study program Biotechnology is to provide a comprehensive education, which focuses mainly on the fields of molecular biology, plant and animal biotechnology and their applications in genetics and breeding. Emphasis is placed on further development and training in the field of critical thinking, the ability to independently and comprehensively analyze professional information, design and implement experimental and theoretical work, as well as adequately evaluate and publish the results. Great attention is paid to the practical mastery of various modern instrumental and laboratory techniques and procedures of molecular biology and biotechnology in order to equip students with practical skills to find a full application in practice in the field of biotechnology. The graduate is able to work independently, implement creative activities and clearly present the results of their work to the professional public at the international level. He is ready to define and analyze the problem, to design a meaningful experiment and its methodological solution, including a comprehensive evaluation and interpretation of the obtained data.
