Key learning outcomes The graduate acquires the ability to orient oneself and work independently in the field of theoretical approaches and practical applications in physics education. It is achieved by deepening of knowledge both in the field of selected parts of physics and in the field of didactics of physics as well as by acquiring skills to perform and evaluate pedagogical research focused on modern methods of physics teaching at all types of schools.
Specific admission requirements The applicants will be accepted on the basis of an interview.
Specific provisions for recognition of prior learning The applicant must be a graduate of a master's degree course of Teacher Training in Physics. For applicants not graduated in Teacher Training in Physics it is obligatory to pass profiling courses of Teacher Training in Physics.
Qualification requirements and regulations The applicant must be a graduate of one of the following master courses: Primary School Teacher Training in Physics, Secondary School Teacher Training in Physics, or physics courses not including teacher training.
Profile of the programme academical
Persistence requirements unspecified
Occupational profiles of graduates with examples Due to the professional qualification, the graduates are able to work as university teachers, employees in school management and state administration, or as professional and managerial staff in various educational and leisure institutions. They can also work as researchers in physics didactics, both in the field of theoretical approaches and in the field of experimental activity during physics teaching.
